AUBURN, Ala. -

WRBL News 3 will air Friday night's Alabama Class 6A High School Football Championship Game matching the Auburn High School Tigers against the defending state champion Hoover High School Buccaneers live on its second digital channel ERBL 3.2, which generally houses the station's Me-TV programming. Kickoff is scheduled for 8p et / 7p ct at Bryant Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa.

ERBL is available over the air on digital channel 3.2 and on Charter Cable Channel 148, Knology Channel 103 and Cable TV of East Alabama Channel 101 in Auburn and Lee County.

Fans can also log on to wrbl.com, where they can watch the game live online.

The game marks the first time in school history that Auburn High (13-1) has played for the state championship. Following an early-season loss to Smiths Station, the Tigers have reeled off eleven straight victories – to capture the Class 6A Region 3 Championship.

Hoover (14-0), won last year's championship against Opelika. The Buccaneers are trying to have two 15-0 seasons back to back for the first time ever. It is Hoover's 13th championship game appearance in the last 14 years.

Stay tuned to WRBL News 3 for more on the Tigers' quest for the title.
