Auburn High encourages fan send-off for football team

AUBURN, Ala. -

The Auburn High Tigers will get quite the send off tomorrow afternoon as they head to Tuscaloosa for the Alabama 6A state title game against Hoover.

The Auburn High Booster Club has organized Auburn Junior High, Dean Road Elementary, Wrights Mill Elementary and fans from all over the city to line the route out of town Thursday as the Tigers head west.

Students will be in front of their schools, while fans can join students at properties adjacent to the schools or along the route from Auburn High on Samford Avenue east to Glenn Avenue, then along Glenn to Bent Creek Road and on to I-85.

Fans are told to gather around 11:30 a.m. CST tomorrow. The busses will leave at noon.

Auburn takes on Hoover for the 6A title Friday night at 8:00 p.m. ET, 7:00 p.m. CT. The game can be seen on ERBL channel 3.2 or on WRBL.com
