Chapel Hill campus police have made an arrest in the case where a man entered the dorm room of a University of North Carolina Friday morning.

Randy Young of UNC Public Safety confirmed Andrew Phillip Cohen, 19, has been charged with first-degree burglary and of attempted second-degree sex offense.

The UNC student said Cohen came into her dorm room around 2:40 Friday morning at Lewis Residence Hall.

The student told public safety officers that she was sleeping when she woke up and found a man in her room. The suspect quickly fled the room when the student woke up.

Nothing was taken from the co-ed's room because the man fled after she woke up.
