Arrest made in shooting that injured two teens in Durham

DURHAM, N.C. -

Investigators have charged a 19-year-old with shooting two teens earlier this week in Durham.

The shooting took place at a vacant home on Grace Lane Tuesday afternoon shortly before 1:30 p.m. When officer arrived to the scene, they found two teens, 14 and 14 years old, who had been shot and seriously injured.

Officers arrested Thomas Deangelo Griffin, 19, on Friday and charged him with two counts of attempted murder.

Griffin is in the Durham County Jail under a $1 million bond.

Both teens remain in the hospital.
