Foster Pets for the Holidays

COLUMBUS, Ga. -

PAWS Humane is asking folks to provide a homeless pet a wonderful holiday season.  The ‘Foster for the Holidays' program not only provides pets a loving family and comfortable environment but also gives shelter volunteers and staff a well-deserved break.

The staff strives for Operation Silent Night...Christmas Eve silent throughout the shelter while all of our animals are in their homes. Fostering a shelter pet is also a perfect way to determine if you have found your perfect match.  Those interested in helping give shelter pets the best Holiday season ever can complete the Foster Application and email to rpierson@pawshumane.org or deliver to PAWS by December 18th

Accepted participants will receive confirmation and can visit PAWS December 19th or 20th to preselect their potential foster pet.  Foster pet pickups will be December 23rd and returns will be January 2nd .  Individuals who decide to adopt their foster pet will be able to complete the final paperwork and receive their ‘Foster for the Holidays' discount on January 2nd.

You can find the application www.pawshumane.org
