3 masked men shoot a man in his camper in Pink Hill

PINK HILL, N.C. - Just before 3:00 Wednesday morning, Pink Hill police received a call about a home invasion on Pineview Avenue.

They arrived at the address to find a man shot in his camper. He's since been air lifted to Vidant Medical Center for treatment.

Chief Joey Thigpen tells 9 On Your Side 3 men broke into the camper armed with 2 handguns and a rifle. They drove away from the crime in a small 4-door car headed towards Duplin County on highway 241.
