Two arrested for Chocowinity meth lab

CHOCOWINITY, N.C. - Beaufort County Deputies arrest two people in connection with a meth lab in Chocowinity.

Tuesday, investigators conducted a search of a camper at 2180 Hodges Road in Chocowinity. Investigators found a small amount of methamphetamine and precursors used to make meth inside the camper.

Investigators located a burn pile near the camper that contained evidence of previous meth manufacturing The SBI responded to the scene and assisted in collecting evidence and removing toxic materials.

Investigators arrested 33-year-old Matthew McCraw and 32-year-old Adina Danielle Miller. They were charged with possession of methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine precursors, maintaining a dwelling to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

They’re in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond.
