Auburn's Harrell named SEC Player of the Week

AUBURN, Ala. -

Auburn junior guard KT Harrell has been named the SEC Player of the Week following his performances against Clemson and Boston College.

Harrell helped guide the Tigers to two wins, averaging 21.5 points a game in the two contests, including a career-high 29 against Boston College, along with six three-pointers.

Auburn beat BC, 77-67, on Sunday.

He scored 14 points in the 66-64 win over Clemson earlier in the week.

Harrell is the team's second leading scorer at 19.1 points a game, just behind Chris Denson who averages 19.2. He has scored in double figures in all nine of Auburn's games so far this year.

Auburn hosts Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Monday, Dec. 30.
