LaGrange driver robbed by hitchhikers

LaGRANGE, Ga. - LaGrange police are looking for two men who robbed a driver giving them a free ride Monday night.

Around 6p et, 28-year-old Joshua Griffin picked up two men along Vernon Road who needed a ride to Wesley Way. Before arriving, the two men took cash from Griffin's wallet.

The suspects, described only as two black males, fled on foot and remain missing. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call LaGrange police at 706-883-2604, Troup County Crime Stoppers at 706-812-1000, text tips to 274637 using the keyword "LAGRANGE" or visiting lagrangega.org.
