FORT BRAGG, N.C. -

Wrestling stars from the WWE were on Fort Bragg Friday to meet fans. Tag Team Champions "Gold Dust" and Cody Rhodes were at Sports USA to sign autographs and take photos with fans before a WWE show in Fayetteville Friday night.

The two wrestlers, often called "The Brotherhood," were just part of the lineup for "WWE Live" at the Crown Center.

While at the meet-and-greet, the wrestlers said members of the military are a huge part of their fan base.

"WWE's made a considerable effort to let everyone know how important the troops are to us," Rhodes said. "If we could support anybody it would be the troops. So it's just a pleasure and an honor for us to do anything for them."

A line of WWE fans wrapped around the Sports USA building as they waited for a chance to meet the tag team. Many of them were Army wives and children, but several soldiers were also in line.

Sgt. Patrick Powers said several of his fellow soldiers were excited about the opportunity to meet the wrestlers and see them live later in the day.

"It's a great opportunity to meet some of my childhood idols," Powers said. "For them to come and show us their appreciation is a real honor for me."
