Funds for college workshop to be held this month

The Muscogee County School District will hold a Funds for College Workshop for 11th and 12th grade students and their parents this month. The two sessions will help parents and students learn how to access and complete the federal Application for Student Aid, college readiness and scholarships.

The sessions will be held at Rigdon Road Elementary School in the Computer Lab. The first session is Thursday, January 9, 2014, 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The second one is Thursday, January 16, 2014, 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

25 seats are available on each date on a first come first served basis. The school is located at 1320 Rigdon Road.
