Soldiers to put local middle school students through an obstacle course

Members of the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team will put 200 Blackmon Road Middle Schools students through an obstacle course to help them build team bonding skills.

The Sledgehammer Soldiers are Blackmon's Partners in Education. They will navigate through 12 obstacles under the direction of a safety coach on Thursday, January 9 at the Air Assault Obstacle Course at Fort Benning.

In addition to teaching bonding skills, the soldiers hope to demonstrate how they train.
