Clean comedy night to be held in Phenix City

Two nationally known comedians will perform Friday,  January 17, 2014 at the Central Activities Center in Phenix City.
Clayburn Cox, a Ragland, Alabama native and Auburn High School teacher won the Clean Comedy Challenge in 2011 with his stand-up comedy routine.

Marty Simpson, an All American football player and a sports radio talk show host, won the 2012 Clean Comedy Challenge.

The two will perform at 7:00 p.m.. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children. For more information you can call (334)-291-4743.

The event is sponsored by the Phenix City parks and Recreation Department.

    A free resource center that helps disabled people across the Valley is celebrating the opening of a new building Saturday. Organizers hope the new location will bring in more clients.
