A pasta fundraiser was held Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach.
The Olive Garden provided food, which was $10 dollars a plate, for the event.
The money raised will go to the "find Heather Elvis fund." That money will help with search costs of the missing woman.
The pastor said there were church members and community members at the fundraiser.
"The Elvis family are members of our church. And so they're family and what's happened to them is happening to us. I was just telling someone else that I've been a pastor for 31 years and this is the first time that something like this has happened in a church family that I've pastored. And so it really hits us hard. I can't imagine what it's like for the Elvis family to go through this, our hearts break for them," said Pastor Bruce Crawford.
Crawford said the Elvis family is very grateful for the support of the community.
"He's a good friend of mine and I know he appreciates what the church has done and what the community is doing," said Crawford.
There's a $25,000 reward offered for information that leads to Elvis' location.
You can donate to the find Heather Elvis fund at South Carolina First Citizens Bank.
If you have any information on this case, you are asked to call the Horry County Police Department.
