Injured Murray making most of Senior Bowl experience

MOBILE, Ala. -

Georgia senior quarterback Aaron Murray is in Mobile, Ala. for the Senior Bowl.

But he won't be playing.

Murray suffered a torn ACL on Nov. 23 in the Bulldogs' win over Kentucky, so he's still in the rehab process. But Murray is taking advantage of his time in front of NFL coaches and scouts to make an impression when he can.

"Oh yeah, it's definitely going to be frustrating, going out there at practice and not being able to participate," Murray said on Monday. "It's the healing process. I have to be smart, take my time, make sure it heals properly, and when I can impress in these interviews, I just have to really do that."

Murray said he's hoping to show NFL representatives he can handle a professional playbook.

His goal is to work out at the UGA pro day in April.
