Auburn High's Taylor commits to Arkansas State

AUBURN, Ala. -

A week after his father joined the coaching staff, Auburn High senior Blaise Taylor announced he will play his college football at Arkansas State.

Taylor signs with the Red Wolves as a cornerback. He had offers from Auburn, Tennessee, Nebraska, Memphis and Harvard, with at least Auburn recruiting him as a slot receiver.

Trooper Taylor, Blaise's father, was an assistant to Gene Chizik on the Auburn staff, and recently accepted a position on Blake Anderson's staff at ASU.

Taylor is rated as a three-star prospect by both Rivals and 247Sports.
