Fayetteville PD make one arrest in apartment shooting

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -
Fayetteville police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting at a Fayetteville apartment that left two people dead Monday night.
Police said they have arrested Rashawn Hill, 17, and charged him with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon in connection with the shooting deaths of 25-year-old Isaiah Manuel Sampeur and 40-year-old Pamela Ann Coe at Cambridge Arms apartments.
Authorities went to a home at 3611 Pickerel St. and requested to speak to a male subject. As officers and deputies entered the home, they heard a shotgun being racked in a rear bedroom. The suspect then fired a single round as officers began walking down the hallway.
A Fayetteville police officer fired one shot at the suspect before officers left the home and put up a perimeter.
Hill eventually surrendered to authorities.
Internal Affairs is investigating the incident since the one officer drew his weapon and fired one round at the suspect.
