Posted: Updated:

A prayer vigil for Heather Elvis, will be held Thursday January 23, at Cypress Camping Resort located at 101 Cypress RV Way in Myrtle Beach. This is located near Socastee High School. The event starts at 6 p.m. and since it's outdoors, people are reminded to dress for cold weather conditions.

Heather Elvis, 20, was last seen December 17 2013, and her car was found at Peachtree Landing two days later. The case has captured national attention and the CUE center from North Carolina has been heavily involved in coordinating volunteer searches for her.

The FindHeatherElvis Facebook page was started when she first went missing and now has up to 40,000 followers.  The reward for information leading to her whereabouts stands at $30,000.
