The next cold snap could bring wintry mischief

Posted: Updated:

Warmer weather sticks around through Monday before things get interesting Tuesday. Two pieces of energy far away from the Chattahoochee River Valley will play an integral part to our forecast as they'll dictate who sees wintry precipitation and who doesn't. Right now, most of us have a slim chance of something frozen from the sky Tuesday through Wednesday. The best chances, as of Saturday night, appear to be along the Gulf Coast and Atlantic Coast.

Saturday Night: Clear and cold. Lows dip to near 30.

SUNDAY:  Sunny early, then mostly cloudy late. High: 57

Sunday Night: Stars and clouds. Lows near 41

MONDAY: Partly cloudy with a light shower possible south. Highs climb to near 60

Monday night: Clouds return. Low: 27

TUESDAY:  Winter mischief? High near 35

Tuesday Night: Winter mischief? Lows near 17.

WEDNESDAY: Winter mischief? Highs near 39.

Wednesday Night: Clear and cold. Lows near 25

Thursday:  Sunny. Highs near 54.

Thursday Night: Clear and cool. Lows dip near 35.

Friday: Sunny. High: 60.

Friday Night: Clear. Lows near 45.

SATURDAY: Chance of rain. Highs near 63.
