Murder suspect surrenders to Columbus police

A young man wanted for murder and considered armed and dangerous by Columbus Police is in custody. He’s accused of killing Troy Saunders.

Police say Trevon Brown, 19, turned himself into authorities tonight around 9:30 on the outstanding charges of Murder, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime, Criminal Attempt Armed Robbery.

Brown has a Recorders Court hearing scheduled for January 30 at 9 a.m. Police still have outstanding warrants on Christopher Wommack in the murder of Troy Saunders.

Two other people are charged with murder in the case, Neisha Jones, 17, and Mayson Gibson, 20.
