A baby girl was born this evening inside her parents' car on Interstate 285 during what is being called "Snow Jam 2014."
According to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, the newborn's parents were trying to get to the hospital but got stuck in the gridlock left by today's snow storm.
Sandy Springs Police told the AJC that the baby's father and Officer Tim Sheffield helped deliver the infant inside the car.
Mom and baby are doing well, the AJC reported.
