CSU games at North Georgia postponed again

Posted: Updated:

The Columbus State men's and women's basketball doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 29 at University of North Georgia, originally pushed back to Thursday, Jan. 30, has been postponed.

Travel conditions remain to be dangerous due to this week's winter storm across the state of Georgia.

CSU athletic director Jay Sparks and UNG athletic director Lindsay Reeves made the announcement today at 3:30 p.m. after carefully monitoring the situation. At least one other Peach Belt Conference doubleheader is also being postponed, Montevallo vs. Young Harris.

Columbus State University is also continuing to close its campus on Thursday.

The next scheduled games for CSU men's and women's basketball teams are on Saturday, Feb. 1 against Georgia College at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. in the Lumpkin Center.
