Poking fun at Starbucks: how customers are finding out the joke’s on them

Posted: Updated:
CALIFORNIA - Many of us need coffee to start our day; it wakes us up and keeps us going.

But a new coffee shop in California is not giving people the boost they are looking for.  Take a look at the logo and at first glance it looks like it's Starbucks but look closer.

This place is actually called ‘Dumb Starbucks.’

The owners say it's a legitimate coffeehouse but many customers say the coffee is actually pretty awful.

The baristas say they don't really know what's going on they just needed jobs.  The store says its logo is parody art and therefore avoids trademark laws.
