Now falling well below average in the forecast

Posted: Updated:
Our cold front will force our rain chances out of the region after 8 a.m. Feeling cold and damp much of the day, with northerly winds remaining steady at 10-20 mph. Readings will hardly budge, maybe 5 degrees from our morning lows. Any breaks of sun will come later in the day, so this will not help the surface to warm. Colder air will settle-in later in the night when the skies clear later tonight. All of us will drop to sub-freezing, then we can expect temperatures to climb Thursday to a cool 52 and closer to averages Friday and Saturday.
