Wednesday has put us in between weather systems, thus giving us a little break before the rain returns again. Temperatures will be milder with this afternoon's limited sunshine, only to turn chilly again on Thursday.
The next weather system coming our way is gathering itself together in the western Gulf of Mexico, and will be on an eastward track Thursday, eventually crossing northern Florida and heading out into the Atlantic by Friday. We'll see rain develop in the area during the day Thursday and hang on through early Friday until the upper air part of the system passes by.
Once the showers are gone on Friday, we should have a fine start to the weekend as skies clear and temperatures actually go up due to the lack of cold air behind the system. We should experience near 70º high temperatures both Saturday and Sunday.
