RALEIGH, N.C. -

A March Madness-themed competition is sending some lucky college students on a trip to Silicon Valley.

N.C. State University's Poole College of Management hosted the fourth annual Start Up Madness.  Business students from the 15 universities in the Atlantic Coast Conference offered up their best real world product pitches.

Judges chose a winner on Wednesday night.  It's set up just like a basketball bracket.

"They go head to head.  We end up with all the schools competing in the first round.  We come down to the elite eight and we're currently in the final four," Lewis Sheats with N.C. State.

In addition to the trip, the winners also receive $500 in cash and a new smart phone.
