Two men have been arrested, and Columbus police are looking for one more in connection to recent home burglaries in the MidTown Columbus area, according to Columbus Police Lt. Steve Cox.

Javan Davenport, 18, and Jermaine McCoy, 18, face burglary charges and police are looking to serve a warrant to Amere Powell, 19 in connection to home break-ins on Habersham Drive, Calvin Drive and Hilton Ave.

Seth Brown, the Director of Crime Prevention, posted on Facebook Neighborhood Watch pages today in response to a News 3 story about concerns of auto and home break-ins in the MidTown Columbus area. He said, "I wanted to share this information with the group. This morning Lt. Steve Cox with CPD informed me that they have arrested 3 suspects and cleared 5 burglaries in the area of Midtown to include Habersham drive, Calvin Drive , Hilton Ave. We have a great group of detectives that are constantly working to make our city safer."

If you have any information about the whereabouts of Powell, you're asked to call the Columbus Police Department at 706-653-3400.
