LINDEN, N.C. -

Cumberland County Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives are searching for three people following the fatal shooting of Dwayne Sawyer last week in Linden.

Vernon "Bam Bam" O’Neal Jones, 27, of Lillington; Roderick "Ron Ron" Nathanial Davis, 32, of Erwin; and Samuelle "Piru" Breshawn Corbett, 22, of Raleigh are considered persons of interest in Sawyer's death.

Davis was last seen driving a gray-colored Chrysler PT Cruiser or Chevrolet HHR. The sheriff's office described Davis as a black male, six feet tall, and weighing about 165 pounds. He has brown eyes and long black dreadlocks.

Two others were injured in the March 25 shooting -- 22-year old Dominique Wiley, of Linden, and Darius Elliot, 33.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Corbett, Davis or Jones is asked to call the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office at (910) 323-1500.
