Dufner adjusts to Masters patrons after PGA Title

Posted: Updated:
AUGUSTA, Ga. - Last year, Jason Dufner became the first Auburn alum to win a major on the PGA tour.

Dufner comes to Augusta in 2014 as something of a fan favorite. He was playing with the premiere foursome in Tuesday morning's practice rounds, joining Phil Mickelson, Rickie Fowler and Dustin Johnson.

Arguably the largest crowds of the day followed Dufner and company. Just part of how Jason says things are different since winning the PGA championship last August.

"Fanfare has been little bit more,” said Dufner. (I) Get more requests from media, seem to get more requests from off-the-course type of stuff. The fans seem to be pulling for me a little bit more. I think I had a pretty strong fanbase before the PGA at the end of the year last year, but we were out there today, a lot of people were yelling war eagle or giving me encouragement out there, so the support from the fans has been a little bit different."
