Fort Benning Interstate 185 closure this weekend - WRBL

Fort Benning Interstate 185 closure this weekend

Posted: Updated:

The outbound northbound lanes of Interstate 185 will be closed under the Custer Road bridge from 6 p.m. April 11 through 6 a.m. April 14.

Traffic will be detoured around the closure by using the off-ramp and on-ramp associated with Custer Road.

The northbound lanes are being closed to facilitate repairs to the bridge. The bridge was damaged in February when a piece of construction equipment hit the bridge.

The inbound (southbound) lanes will remain open throughout the weekend.
