Rainy start to the work week

Posted: Updated:
High pressure continues to dominate our weather tomorrow, allowing us to top out in the low 80s across the board. A cold front will enter the picture Monday and give us more rain and a few thunderstorms Monday afternoon through Tuesday early afternoon. Flooding will be the main issue with this system as we could pick up another 2-3” of rain on top of the 4-5” we saw less than a week ago. The rain will clear out Tuesday, leaving us rather cool for this time of year. Temperatures could very well drop into the 30s Wednesday morning, but that depends on how calm the winds go.

Another storm system will come in from the Gulf of Mexico later Friday and give us a chance of rain, especially south and east of Columbus.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear. Lows near 57.

SUNDAY:   Partly cloudy. High: 83

Sunday Night: Cloudy and mild. Lows near 61

MONDAY: Scattered storms, a few strong, possible. Highs climb to near 76

Monday night: Cloudy and rainy. Low: 60

TUESDAY:  Mostly cloudy more showers possible in the morning. High near 69

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear and cool. Lows near 42.

WEDNESDAY: Sunny and cool. Highs near 69.

Wednesday Night: Clear. Lows near 45

Thursday:  Partly cloudy. Highs near 70.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear. Lows dip near 50.

Friday: Partly cloudy with a chance of rain southeast. High: 73.

Friday Night: Partly clear, but showers are possible south and east. Lows near 58.

SATURDAY: Partly cloudy.  Highs near 75.
