Columbus Police arrest man for impersonating federal officer

COLUMBUS, Ga. -

A Cusseta man has been arrested in Columbus for pretending to be a federal officer.

Justin Greene, 22, showed up to police dispatched calls and police traffic stops portraying himself as a Homeland Security Agent, according to Columbus police. Police say Greene was driving an ex-police vehicle with blue and white paint. On several occasions, Greene identified himself to police officers as a Peace Officer and had a firearm holstered on his side with a badge attached to the holster, according to police.

Police say the case remains under investigation.
