Columbus shooting victim dies after Adair Avenue shooting

COLUMBUS, Ga. -

Corey Owens, the man hospitalized after a shooting in Columbus Thursday afternoon, has died, Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan confirms to WRBL News 3.

Owens was shot inside a white sports utility vehicle shortly before 2p et Thursday near the intersection of Adair Avenue and Wynnton Road. He was transported to the Midtown Medical Center with "potentially life-threatening injuries" after the shooting.
