The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets upset top-seed and sixth-ranked Miami, 6-3, Wednesday afternoon in the ACC Tournament.

With the win, Georgia Tech advances to play four-seed Duke on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. ET. Miami will face Clemson in an elimination game.

The Jackets trailed 3-1 going into the seventh, with the lone run coming on an Arden Pabst single in the fifth. With two on, Pabst did it again, doubling to left to score Ryan Peurifoy. Mott Hyde would drive in Brandon Gold with a sac fly later in the inning to tie the game.

It wasn’t tied long. In the eight, it was Gold doing the damage. His single scored Peurifoy and Connor Justus to make it 5-3.

The final run came in the ninth, when Matt Gonzalez drove in Hyde to bring the score to its final.
