WAVERLY, Ala. - An Auburn teen caught on camera stealing a television has been arrested, the Lee County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday.

Trevonta Jamel Guy, 18, was arrested Monday in connection with a home burglary caught on the homeowner's surveillance camera. Guy and another man are accused of breaking into a home in the 1000 block of Patrick Street in Waverly on May 20. Home video shows Guy picking up a flat screen television before nearly dropping it.

"Several law enforcement officers that viewed the recording were able to identify one of the offenders as Guy," Captain Van Jackson says in a news release to WRBL News 3.

The homeowner reports two television, a Sony PlayStation, an outdoor camera, golf clubs and a bag of tools were taken. The items have a combined value of approximately $2,349, according to authorities.

Guy is being held on $7,000 bond at the Lee County Detention Center on charges including:
-Giving a false name to a law enforcement officer
-Four outstanding warrants related to Failure to Appear and/or Pay
-Third degree burglary
-Second degree theft of property

Authorities are still trying to identify a second suspect seen in the home video. Anyone with information is asked to call the Lee County Sheriff's Office a 334-749-5651 or the Lee County Crime Stoppers tip line at 888-522-7847.
