More rain coming this afternoon

Posted: Updated:
An upper level low pressure has been spinning to our northwest, sending wave after wave of storms our direction since Friday. This low will finally fizzle out later tonight, but not before it sends one more round of showers and storms our way this afternoon. We’ll get a bit of a reprieve Thursday before another piece of energy heads our way Friday. This energy will cut-off from the main flow and spin over us throughout the weekend. That means rain chances will once again be in the scattered to numerous category Friday through Saturday.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy with scattered storms later in the afternoon.  Highs near 84.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear. Lows near 67

THURSDAY:  Stray storm in the afternoon. Highs near 86.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear. Lows dip near 68.

FRIDAY: Scattered to numerous showers and storms. High: 87.

Friday Night: Mostly clear. Lows near 69.

SATURDAY: Scattered to numerous showers and storms.  Highs near 87.

Saturday Night: Becoming mostly clear. Lows near 69.

SUNDAY: Scattered to numerous showers and storms. Some strong to severe. High: 88

Sunday Night: Becoming mostly clear. Lows near 70

MONDAY: Shower chances stay with us. Highs climb to near 90

Monday night: Mostly clear. Low: 71
