KNIGHTDALE, N.C. -

The US-64 East ramp from I-540 was closed Wednesday afternoon while crews worked to clear the scene of an overturned tractor trailer.

Police said the truck overturned on the east-bound ramp where I-540 meets US-64 in Knightdale.

As there is no option for east-bound traffic from 540 onto US-64, all traffic was routed toward Raleigh while the scene is cleared.

Police said the truck was carrying non-hazardous material and the driver sustained only minor injuries.

No other vehicles were involved.
