Omega Psi Phi to host annual Purple and Gold Golf Tournament

Golf enthusiasts are being sought by Lambda Iota Chapter Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., as the fraternity prepares for its upcoming 35th Annual Purple and Gold Golf Tournament.

The tournament will be held at Follow Me Golf Course, Fort Benning, GA., June 28-29, 2014. This medal play tournament will have double shotgun starts 8:00 AM and 1:30PM on both days with flighting  after the first day’s play.

Cost per participant is $125.00 and includes cart, refreshments and Friday night reception. The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. conducts this event annually to honor the Scholarship goals of the local and National Organization. This year Graduating Seniors will share $14,000.00 adding to over 200 recipients and $250,000.00 given over the past years.

Omega Psi Phi was founded on November 17, 1911, at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Today, Omega Psi Phi now has over 700 chapters throughout the United States, Bermuda, Bahamas, Virgin Islands, Korea, Japan, Liberia, Germany, and Kuwait.
