33 arrested in Chambers County drug investigation

CHAMBERS COUNTY, Ala. -

Over 30 people have been arrested following a widespread drug investigation spanning Chambers County and surrounding areas, the Chambers County Sheriff's Department announced on Facebook Wednesday. The arrests for the trafficking, sale and purchase of drugs came during a three month long investigation starting in January, Lt. Johnny Wood and Lt. Robert Chambers said in the joint statement posted to the social networking site.

The investigation resulted in 33 individuals being arrested on a total of 86 crews. Law enforcement seized include 20 grams of methamphetamine, 57 grams of marijuana, 105 prescription pills and $2,195 in United States currency.

Those arrested include:

1. Robert Alvin Hunt, 30 of Valley – Drug Offender purchase of pseudoephedrine

2. Joshua Woodyard, 18 of West Point – Drug offender purchase of pseudoephedrine

3. Larry Van Whaley, 36 of Valley – unlawful possession of controlled substance (2 counts), Unlawful possession of prescription medicine (2 counts)

4. Michael Lewis James, 54 of West Point – Unlawful distribution of controlled substance

5. Amanda Jean Ballard, 46 of Lafayette – Unlawful possession of controlled substance, drug offender purchase of pseudoephedrine, possession of drug paraphernalia

6. William Drew Payton, 26 of Valley – Drug offender purchase of pseudoephedrine

7. Melanie Foster, 29 of Valley – Drug offender purchase of pseudoephedrine

8. Richard Eugene Clark, 45 of Valley – Unlawful possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia

9. Jamie Hill, 33 of Valley – Unlawful possession of controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana 2nd

10. Mary Delinda Clark, 39 of Cusseta – Illegal purchase of pseudoephedrine

11. Gregory Leon Brown, 50 of Valley – Unlawful possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia

12. Kelsey Alyssa Thompson, 19 of Valley, Unlawful possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia

13. Victor Tremayne Tolbert, 39 of Lanett – Unlawful distribution of controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana 2nd

14. Cliff Wade Lauderdale, 21 of Opelika – Unlawful manufacture of controlled substance 1st

15. James Dennis Scott, 58 of Valley – Unlawful manufacture of controlled substance 1st , Drug offender purchase of pseudoephedrine

16. Jesse Lamar Garner, 21 of Valley – Unlawful manufacture of controlled substance 1st

17. Ryan Kendall Taylor, 24 of Cusseta – Unlawful manufacture of controlled substance 1st

18. Kristina Lynn Smith, 26 of Valley – Unlawful distribution of controlled substance

19. Richard Earl Shaddix, 38 of Valley – Illegal purchase of pseudoephedrine

20. Gerald Ferguson II, 40 of Lanett – Unlawful possession of controlled substance, Possession of marijuana 1st, possession of drug paraphernalia

21. Erin Locklear, 34 of West point – Unlawful distribution of controlled substance

22. Egland Ogletree, 52 of Lanett – Unlawful possession of marijuana 1st

23. Carol ann Waldrop, 49 of Opelika – Drug offender purchase of pseudoephedrine (2 counts)

24. Emerson Williams, 46 of Lafayette – Unlawful possession ofmarijauna 1st, Possession of drug paraphernalia

25. Emerson Williams Jr, 19 of Lafayette – Disorderly conduct

26. Demarcus Marquis Tremble, 22 of Valley – Trafficking oxycodone, Possession of a forged instrument 2nd, Attempt to commit a controlled substance crime, Unlawful possession of marijuana 2nd

27. Michael Allen Medford, 19 of Valley – Unlawful possession of controlled substance, unlawful possession of prescription medicine

28. Nicole Elizabeth Williams, 19 of Atlanta – Unlawful possession of controlled substance

29. Rodney Tremayne Greer, 38 of Atlanta – Unlawful possession of marijuana 1st, Unlawful possession of controlled substance, unlawful possession of prescription medicine

30. Staci Elizabeth Taunton, 32 of Valley – Drug offender purchase of pseudoephedrine

31. Zachary Bornstorph, 19 of Valley – Trafficking oxycodone, Possession of a forged instrument 2nd, Unlawful possession of controlled substance, Attempt to commit a controlled substance crime

32. Paul Truman Robinson, 50 of Lanett – Illegal purchase of pseudoephedrine

33. Suzanne Kolene Healy, 45 of Valley – Drug offender purchase of pseudoephedrine
