Credit Union Offers Points Bonuses for Military Appreciation Month
VIENNA, Va., July 3, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- In honor of Military Appreciation Month, Navy Federal Credit Union gave away over 11 million total credit card rewards points to members making purchases at military commissaries and exchanges. Navy Federal members shopping at qualifying locations in the month of May – Military Appreciation Month – received double the usual amount of rewards points for all purchases. The bonus rewards points awarded during the month had a collective value of 130 round trip flights from New York to Brazil, home of this year's World Cup. The total points were also equal in value to a new luxury sports car or a down payment on a sizable home.
