BIRMINGHAM, AL - A police standoff in Birmingham has ended with no injuries and the suspect in custody.

Officers were called to 4th street and Rev. Abraham Woods, Jr. Boulevard around 7:30 this morning where a man was standing  armed with what appeared to be a rifle and another gun sitting in a holster.

Authorities have not yet said what led to the incident.

After more than two hours, the man surrendered to police.

Officers have not released any other details on this case.
