Fuquay-Varina police arrest 1, searching for second suspect in shooting

FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. -

 Fuquay-Varina police arrested 24-year-old man in connection with a shooting early Friday in front of the Baytree Apartments.

Police said Bruce Antonio Douglas has been charged with accessory after the fact to a felony in connection with the shooting of Jerome Edward Fogg Jr.

Fogg was shot around 2:30 a.m. in front of 109 Baytree Apartments, according to police. He remains in critical condition at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, police said.

Police are still looking for Justin Deandre Bass, 25.

Police are asking that anyone having information on the whereabouts of Bass contact the Fuquay-Varina Police Department at 919-552-3191.
