As part of the advertising campaign promoting Season 12 of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," the Detroit Academy of Arts & Sciences choir is featured singing their viral hit "Happy," originally recorded by Pharrell Williams.

Earlier this year, a two-minute video of the choir singing the pop hit went viral on YouTube. Since then, the choir of 9- to 14-year-old students has enjoyed the spotlight thanks to Ellen. The students have appeared twice on her show and were awarded a $50,000 donation from Shutterfly, allowing the choir to travel to perform at Disney World in June.

"The Ellen DeGeneres Show" airs weekdays at 4 p.m. on WNCN. The premiere episode for Season 12 is currently scheduled for Sept. 8.
