HOOVER, Ala. - Members of the media attending the Southeastern Conference's annual football Media Days in Hoover, Ala. have picked the Alabama Crimson Tide to square off against the South Carolina Gamecocks in the SEC Championship Game on December 6th at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

Defending SEC Champion Auburn is picked to finished second in the Western Division and Georgia was the media's pick as runner-up in the East.

Auburn placed 13 players on the media's preseason All-SEC teams, including first-team quarterback Nick Marshall, receiver Sammie Coates, center Reese Dismukes and defensive lineman Gabe Wright, a graduate of Columbus' Carver High School.
Nine Georgia football players made the media’s preseason All-SEC team, with three Bulldogs landing on the first team: running back Todd Gurley, linebacker Ramik Wilson and placekicker Marshall Morgan.
