Kids and parents from the Sardis Missionary Baptist Church in Sand Hill, Alabama visited WRBL News 3 Monday.

WRBL First Alert Meteorologist David Reese toured the group through the station, including the WRBL News 3 control room and studio. David talked about the broadcasting business, importance of severe weather preparedness and the workings of a newsroom.

    A free resource center that helps disabled people across the Valley is celebrating the opening of a new building Saturday. Organizers hope the new location will bring in more clients. For the past year, the disability service center has grown to see nearly 200 clients a week. Now, employees hope the new building will allow them to help even more disabled people.
