Pioneer run rules Czech Republic, moves to softball World Series semifinal

PORTLAND, Ore. -

Ralee Weaver continued a stellar softball Little League World Series as Pioneer completed a perfect run through pool play, beating Czech Republic, 14-4.

Weaver had three hits and three RBIs and also struck out six in 2.2 innings in the circle.

Pioneer jumped out a 2-0 lead after one, then broke it open with eight runs in the second. Kamdyn Fuller had three hits as well, and Mary Head, Kennedi Bedel, Aiyana Taylor, Jillian Holloway, Jada Chadwick, Lindsey Sanders, and Cydnee Harrison each added hits.

The girls from Columbus now advance to the semifinals, where they will face the Southwest champs, Bossier City, La., on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
