Nick Saban, Crimson Tide, take ALS ice bucket challenge

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -

Nick Saban is all wet.

Well, at least he was after taking the ALS ice bucket challenge Tuesday evening after practice.

Saban and the entire Crimson Tide football team accepted the challenge levied by South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier. Saban, in turn, challenged former Tide Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (a long-time friend from West Virginia), Florida head coach Will Muschamp and none other than Paul Finebaum.

The challenge is especially meaningful in Tuscaloosa. Former Alabama football player Kevin Turner is battling ALS.

The ice bucket challenge entails one being challenged to either donate $100 to ALS research, or dump a bucket of ice water over their head and donate $10.
