Outdoor Weekend Events March 23 - 25

Warmer weather moves in this weekend making it good for all of these outdoor events!

Watch a movie under the stars with Junior League of Columbus in Woodruff Park Friday evening starting at 6 p.m. edt.

Take on a new approach to an egg hunt Saturday afternoon in Auburn. Each egg you find has an exercise to complete with ActiveAuburn trainers! Once you find all the eggs and finish the work out, you’ll earn a prize!

Head to Lake Oliver for Outside World’s Sunset Paddle Series Saturday evening. Glide across the water for a 3-mile paddle as the sun sinks over the lake.

And this weekend’s highlighted event is Uptown’s Spring Food Truck Festival Saturday from 11 a.m. till 6 p.m. in Woodruff Park. Thirty food trucks take over the park and line Dillingham Bridge with all sorts of dishes ranging from Indian, sushi, vegan and meat-lover options!

“We also have sweet and savory trucks so we’ll have cookies and cheesecake and pretty much anything you can think of. These people are more creative with food than I’ve ever seen in my entire life. So every time we host, there’s always great food trucks that come out, and there’s always something that will surprise and delight your taste buds,” Uptown Columbus' Marketing VP Becca Zajac.

There is a $5 donation for the festival which goes right back to Uptown to host other events for the community through the year.
