Connor Hackling is the News Director at WRBL News 3. Connor joined the WRBL team in June 2014 as the producer of News 3 This Morning.
After working with the morning team for two years, Connor was promoted to the role of 11pm producer, where he began working with Phil Scoggins, Teresa Whitaker and Bob Jeswald. Connor was later named Executive Producer before taking over as Assistant News Director in December 2018. Connor was promoted to News Director in July 2021.
Connor is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, where he met his wife, Peyton. They are proud cat parents of Tyrion, who is indeed named after the “Game of Thrones” character.
The Hacklings are huge fans of Atlanta sports teams. If you go to a Falcons game in Mercedes Benz Stadium, you’re likely to find Connor cheering on the home team.
