Hannah James graduated from Auburn University in May of 2021 where she majored in English and minored in Journalism. She transferred to Auburn after graduating in 2019 from Coastal Alabama Community College in Bay Minette, Ala. with an Associate of Arts degree in English.
Hannah is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Journalism online with the University of Alabama. Although she is a prime example of house divided, she assures her Auburn family she will always cheer, “War Eagle!”
Hannah’s career with WRBL started part-time as a production assistant in Feb. of 2021, before being promoted to full-time digital producer at the beginning of Aug. of 2021. Seven months later Hannah was promoted to digital reporter in March of 2022, which she held shortly before being promoted to her current position as Weekend Morning Anchor and MMJ.
She debuted as WRBL’s Weekend Morning Anchor on June 25, 2022. In this role she provides national and local news coverage to east Alabama and west Georgia communities every Saturday and Sunday morning at 8/7 CST.
